A long task list does not tell you what fits into your day. It tells you everything you have not done. Unfold starts with a different question. How much time and effort do you have right now? This is a local-first planning tool for everyday tasks, designed for HyperBloom October. The goal is a smaller plan and a clearer next step. Start in an empty workspace, or load the example day to explore the flow. There is no sign-up form and no account to create. Add a task, estimate the minutes it needs, and choose light, steady, or deep effort. You can write your own small steps, one per line. Nothing is generated for you or presented as expert advice. If a task is time-sensitive, mark it so the planner considers it first. Next, choose your available time. Then choose the effort you want to spend. Build the plan. In this example, returning the parcel takes twenty minutes and clearing the desk takes ten. Together, they fit a thirty-minute window. The other tasks stay visible, with a plain explanation. One needs more effort. Another does not fit the time left. Estimates remain editable, and there is no pressure to fill every minute. Open focus mode to work on one task. The rest of the list moves out of view. Check off the small steps at your own pace. There is no countdown, streak, or penalty for stopping. Complete the task, and your next task appears. If you tapped by mistake, undo restores your previous state. Preferences offer higher contrast and larger text. The interface also respects reduced motion and works with a keyboard. Export a private backup, or restore a validated file with confirmation. Invalid files do not replace your tasks. If browser storage is unavailable, the app tells you to download a backup instead of claiming your work was saved. Unfold is a frontend prototype, not a health intervention. Its design is informed by accessibility guidance. Real user studies are still future work. Adeel Falak Sher and Rauf Khalid are the proposed product and experience leads. This demo shows the working implementation. Unfold. A smaller plan. A clearer next step.
